Well, my third factory mag (second extra purchased) came in yesterday after taking about two weeks to travel from Kansas to Virginia. Along with some older mags from the “pool” I finally feel well set in that department. I have a set of Millett sights to install on the Model 915 slide, and will probably change out the stainless Gen 2 ambi safety and replace it with a stainless Gen 3 ambi safety at the same time I upgrade the sights. :)

I’m feeling pretty good about old Frankie except for the slide stop. I had never thought of my thumb as being especially short but I’m having a hard time hitting the release with my hand in firing position on the grips. I have seen where some folks like Wilson made such a device “back in the day” but can’t find any currently.

SOOO the purpose of my post; does anyone know of a currently produced extended slide stop (preferably stainless) or know of anyone who has one in old stock? If I can find one of those, I think my Franken-Smith will be fully complete.

As always, TIA for any assistance,
Froggie

PS Please forgive the fuzzy pics... my iPad is on strike!
