My wife had a mail order business, and there is a bit of additional hassle in shipping to Alaska or Hawaii and many Alaska and Hawaii customers resent the rate differential and "lesser 48" delivery services and the USPS screw up their forecast rate versus what they actually charge such that it in order to keep things pleasant, you just don't ship there until you know what you are doing.
