Free magazines offer on M&P's

The form said something like they had to verify the serial number of the pistol. I don't know what they mean by that, except maybe to determine if it was indeed shipped to the store where you bought it.

I found a phone # on the form but not a website for inquiry. Still, 8-10 weeks isn't up yet.

Call the Consumer Rebate Inquiry Line 1-866-963-7933 to check on mag deal. She said if you submitted the form online it would take 10 to 12 weeks.

I called S&W Customer Service today and got them to send me two mag followers for my M&P9. Mine had the sloped side that would miss the slide stop when an empty mag was inserted. While I had them on the phone I asked them about the free mag offer and if they had received the form I mailed in on 11-26-14. Rep said they had it, the entry date was 12-5-14 and to allow 8-10 weeks from that date so maybe they'll show up mid February.

Sure did, he apologized and said if I did not recieve an error notice in email they are still processing them and sorry for the delay. He Still stuck to the 10-12 week wait even though I'm over that timeframe.

This ain't fair. I just got a new M&P 40 FS as a replacement for my junk M&P 40 FS that went back for the third time in 4 months; the least they could have done was offered me extra magazines with my new one.

Actually, I just bought a shield and the store said they can't keep them on the shelves. Actually, the guy in the store said that. To my fortune, they had just gotten a shipment in the day I purchased mine.
