Hello, all--
Just joined up after getting to shoot another gun club member's S&W 625 at the range last week.
That was ALL she wrote; I must have a Model 625, preferably in 4" barrel, as soon as possible.
Long story short: In December 2009 my family and I were the victims of a bad guy in our house. Due to having a camera system, he was ID'd and caught by our very fine local police department, and is in jail.
After having guns a'plenty as a kid, I had somehow slid away from them in my 30s. The home invasion last year cemented my return to guns, and I have been adding to my collection since then.
A CCW permit is now in hand, and I daily carry any/all of the following:
1. Sig Sauer Revolution C3 1911 in .45ACP
2. Glock 36 in .45ACP
3. Sig Sauer P238 in .380
4. Ruger LCP in .380
I also started reloading this spring, and it has been a great hobby to discover as well.
But seriously...why didn't anybody tell me about S&W Model 625s back in 1989-1990 when I graduated college?
These are SERIOUSLY fine revolvers.
I will have one before year's end.
Thanks for the welcome, and I am humbled to be here.
