Front gas block

Hey guys I'm looking to order a new front gas block to do away with the stock front sight. I want one with a picatinny rail on it so I can mount a new flip up sight. What size gas block do I need to order?

Which flip up front sight are you planning to use?

ZeroTolerance...I found one I like on eBay: it is the AXC folding front sight. I bought one and put it on my rifle. I think you can see it in the pics of my latest rendition. Here is the link:

Which flip up front sight are you planning to use?

I'm not sure what front sight I am going to put on it yet. I might just go with a low-profile gas block. And then put a extended forearm on it and maybe a flip up sight on the end.

If you go with an extended forearm, you could do what I did...cut off the A2 front sight making sure that you don't cut too deep and get into the gas tube area. I cut mine off after reading about the trials and tribulations of those who did decide to drive out the pins. Zero cost and I can put it back to stock if I ever want to.
