I've got a 2nd Model HE chambered in .44spl. that has been chopped down to a 3.5" barrel. Since it was hitting high I decided to build up the front sight with JB weld and file it down until POA & POI matched for my loads. After I measure the height & clean up the JB weld, I'm thinking of building it up via TIG and filing/contouring it down to size. What do the experts say? Thanks in advance.
