Great book by one of the early pioneers in hand gun hunting. This book was printed by Bonanza Books, New York, 1961. It's a Hard Back. Book condition is excellent with no rips or tears and the dust jacket condition is good. First Printing. 8 1/2" X 11". 335 Pages Indexed. A 1961 Bonanza reprint of a 1955 copyright. Written by one of the most out spoken authorities on handgus ever. Without Elmer we wouldn't have had the .44 Magnum. Dust jacket shows wear to cover edges and spine. Binding is tight, boards are like new, bright book with white pages. Interior is pristine with no marks. The following is taken from the inside dust jacket, "The author documents in this invaluable reference work his lifetime experiences and findings on this historic weapon. Elmer Keith, recognized as the world expert on guns, reports on new developments in arms and ammunition with a variety of photographs of old and rare guns along with current American models. Included in his remarks is a treasury of absorbing information about marksmen with numerous illustrations of trick shooting, quick draws, hip-shooting and police training. More than fifty years of experience and experimentation in handguns with Indian fighters, vigilantes and frontier lawmen makes Elmer Keith a specialist in his field. As the Cleveland Plain Dealer puts it, Other books have been written on the revolver --- other books will be written-but Sixguns By Keith is and will remain the final authority." Offered for $115.00 shipped.
