Like-new 6" SST 648 22Mag.
Very Rare hard to find model from the original production run (1989-1994). No Dash No Lock.
It's serial # is BFJ64xx . Born-on date: reportedly from 1990.
I discussed selling this rare revolver last year, but the timing is better now.
The combo package for sale includes a full box of ammo and the partial box left over and also includes a black webbing holster and a non-original S&W Revolver box (worst corner shown). All as shown below.
Been in the safe and hasn't been shot since approx 1991.
When I got it I thought it would shoot 22LR too, but quickly learned it would not.
So, shot ~40 rounds (hence the partial ammo box) and haven't shot it since!
It has original OEM beautiful wood "combat" grips with the inset S&W logo medallions on both sides as shown.
It has rear adjustable and fixed front sights.
Back in the day I added a dab of red "testors" paint to front sight as shown to improve the sight picture.
This paint is probably easily removed if you choose to do so.
It is like new as you can see in the picture. Not handled much. Never "carried".
Asking $1190. I've watched 648 auctions go higher $$$.
Will consider OBO.
I'll meet you locally at a FLL or pay shipping from my FFL to your FLL (after your payment clears).
I may have to ship the ammo separately - - if you want it, you'll pay for the ammo shipping.
