FUN!

I Have heard people describe shooting the 15-22 and all they say is funI haven't shot mine yet but when i do i will try to describe it with detail!
Good luck! I find myself at a loss for words everytime.

Absolutely FUN... and this is what a lot of other people on other forums, in the "gUN COmmunity" etc. don't understand...
Isn't FUN the main desired goal??? WHY Do it/something if you're not seeking FUN? And my 15-22 just makes FUN... it CREATES IT.
and its so easy, no problems to go to my closest indoor range, pay my $20, pick up my maybe 5- $1/ea paper target choices and just go spend a couple hours bustin caps with the 15-22. Red dot sight in, some fun, fine tuning the sight in, try some accuracy shots, try some high speed shots, maybe try and see how I am shooting with my Rem 597 or Savage Mark II to compare, then go back to the 15-22 and continue, try out the MBUS, mess around with co-witnessing, it's all EASY FUN, a Pure WIN situation.

Even people shouldn't have this much fun. If asked to describe the worst day I had shooting my 15-22 I would reply, "Beautiful, just fricking beautiful!"

When I first shot mine, I knew I liked it a lot. It really didn't feel like a .22 LR caliber, but something with a little bit more "kick" to it.
Loading this thing, however, is a pain for me in the Winter when it is 10 degrees out here in NY and 25mph winds. I only get 10 rounds before my magazine runs out (compliant version). I could only manage to reload the magazine three times the other day before my fingers lost too much dexterity to squeeze the tiny bullets in. This being said, I am getting more magazines so I can load in the house and make shooting more enjoyable.

Every day,out on my land, at my hand made shooting range, with my 15-22, is a wonderful day... Home made paper targets, cans, or any thing that comes to mind, can make it even more fun... Your imagination is the only thing that places limits on your fun... (And your 15-22) I have a large selection of firearms that I can chose from to take to my range, but I always walk out of the house with my 15-22...
