Below is an email I received, one of thousands I get each year.
Most of them just annoy me by costing me a half second to recognize and delete, but this one made me laugh:

The Funny part:
Yeah, right. The Director of the FBI wants to help me collect money that I did not know I had coming.
The Director of the FBI has an email address of chloe@blackgateone.com. Chloe must be his middle name.
The Director of the FBI apparently does not know my name since he did not use it, and apparently can't get my address and telephone number.
Judging by the grammar and phraseology, The Director of the FBI doesn't seem to have English as his native tongue.
The payment officer, Mr. Rooney Josh, has a Vietnamese email address- [email protected].vn. Must be a branch office, which explains the funny phone number.
The Tragic Part:
That we have so little common sense left amongst us that people actually fall for these scams with so many red flags contained in the very message itself. I'm not knocking your 95 year old grandma who thinks Truman is still President- I'm talking about functioning(?) adults.
Maybe the Gubburmint oughta do somethin to protect us!
