Costco here in Cedar Park TX is $3.84 for Reg

Houston appears to have the lowest price in Texas at around $3.15 for reg.

If you want a piece of the pie, you must buy in. It is called investing. Oil companies take a tremendous risk, then hostile govts pull the rug out from under them to make a scene for their investors ( vast majority) who do not invest, just hang around for the spoils. Who would explore and drill in uncertain times not knowing if you can trust the Power of the day to not rip you off.

True to an extent. If you had a 1/2 a million or so invested in big oil you might break even using your dividends to offset what the cost of fuel is going to set you back. High fuel equals higher everything prices as almost everything is hauled by trucks at some point. Of course like one official recently said, If low income people can't afford gas, they should buy an electric car. Real grasp of bring low income and where energy comes from there, I tell you what.

There's not any reason to kill animals. Just go go buy meat at the grocery store.
It doesn't matter if farmers can't grow vegetables. The grocery store has plenty.
There many thoughts and ideas that people have that I don't understand or want to understand. If I understand I'm as stupid as they are. Larry

I rode by 2 stations side by side this morning. The Shell had reg for $4.19 for reg and the WaWa next to it had unleaded reg for $4.35 per gallon. The were more people buying gas at the WaWa than at the Shell.

I heard from one of my lunch group that the local Sams Club had about a 50 car lineup yesterday.

Too many retired people around here with nothing to do :D

I wonder if these are the same people who were hanging around WalMart waiting for them to fill the ammo case.

I got out and about today. I paid attention to gas station signs. I live next door to Memphis. Highest was $4.19. Lowest was $3.98. My usual station was $4.09. :(

Heh-heh, the Mini-Wally was down to $4.34.9 from $4.39.9 yesterday. About 11 1/2 gal cost me $49. The new (2022 Nissan Frontier) gets almost 22 mi/gal with a 310 hp V6 compared with the 2010 Silverado with a 195 hp V6. That extra 5 mi gal helps. Joe

In my particular patch of Orange County, prices seem not to have moved for about three days with regular centering around $6 and premium $6.40. The one station I know that has Diesel had it priced at $6.75.

About eight days ago, I filled the tanks in my two rides with regular at $4.99 and Premium $5.59. I'm pretty sure the next time I fill them with the needle hovering just below the E, the bill for each will bust the Franklin barrier.

$4.099 (lets just call it $4.10) for regular here on Thursday in Granby, CO. "Mountain" gasoline has always been more expensive, and I don't see it going anywhere but up.
