Lake Ariel PA.

Exxon was 3.89 at 8:30 this morning.

It was 4.09 at 11am.

Price gouge much??

No. Not gouging. Do you watch prices at all. Oil is 115.00 a barrel now. Look before you speak.
Do you know what it was a week ago?
If oil from Russia gets sanctioned, look for 6-7 a gallon.

This is a price WE, as Americans living in a free society can pay to help Democracy, if that's what it comes to.

I remember in the '70's when prices were going up quickly, some of our local gas stations kept the ladders out by the price signs. Now its computerized.
When I lived NJ (when it was RED) the turnpike changed prices on Thursday so we would fill up on the way home from work, on Wednesday evenings.
If I told you the price here I'd be lying because it would change as I write this.

I don't know just now. I'm askeert to look! I can remember being in Southern California in the early 60s. Gas wars were common. I once saw gas for 7 cents a gallon. My little Chevy Corvair Monza had a 10 gallon tank. Filled it up from nearly bone dry for about 66 cents. I guess that old train has done left the station!

I think it's helps our Democracy if we are dependent on no one but ourselves. Perhaps you don't remember we were doing that just a little over a year ago.

Depending on the oil of despots does not help us be a better Democracy.

These are the prices just a little south Sacramento, CA, where my daughter resides.

Gas prices have gone sideways, this post proves it.:D
