Just filled the Frontier after 2 weeks, $4.09.9. Went up to $4.49.9 right after I left. Nice thing, took 6.6 gal, a little over $30. Way better than the Silverado. Joe

Filled my truck from a little over 1/2 tank today (55gal tank)... cheapest diesel in our area.

Exxon $4.63/gallon in Lake Ariel PA today.
I put $50 in my 2018 VW Tiguan today. I've had the car 3 years and the most I ever put in it was $40.
Back when I got it in 2019 I could run it down till the little gas pump lit up and fill it with $30.
Today the gas pump lit up, I put in $50,and was still below 3/4 of a tank.
The car averages 30mpg commuting 42 miles a day round trip, I cant fault it.
Awful.

That one made me flat out laugh. If your rent only went up by 10% this year in this city your landlord is considered asleep at the wheel. Just about every night the local news has another family being made constructively homeless by rent increases of $400, $600, $800 or more a month.
There appears to be a concerted effort to push rents to Orange County, California levels, both for homes and commercial property. Why? The lure of quick money, I assume. All I can say is that the money had better be damned quick. Last time rent and home purchase prices went this nuts it all went to rats almost overnight in 2008. Come the next crash and the looming water shortage, I should get some training on a D9 Cat.
Pretty much the same here in greater St Louis area. Was under $4.00 and now at $4.28 (yesterday). Yikes
And we all know why.

Most of the stations around here have reg for $4.25 per gallon. There is one BP station that has it at $4.13 per gallon. I filled up there Friday but it still cost me $87.00 to fill my wife's Jeep Cherokee.
Up here We have a choice of gas. 10% Ethanol added gas is still climbing but yesterday it was $3.89. Ethanol free is $4.49. Diesel is $5.39 and tourist season hasn't started. And all the pumps have the picture of POTUS pointing and saying " I did this." I think this Year the Sturgis Rally will have more riders as gas prices might curtail towing, which a lot of people do.
I just spent about 10 days on the road driving from MA to Austin, TX.
Gas prices fluctuated wildly from state to state and even different areas in the same state. They also went up anywhere from 10-25 cents per gallon while we were traveling.
CT, NY, PA all had outrageous (to me) prices. VA, TN, AR, and TX were much more reasonable, but again rose on our return trip.
Costco and Walmart gas stations (if you live near one) were the best around. Love and Pilot generally had the best prices at truck stops, although an Exxon station in VA had a very cheap price, probably 15 cents cheaper than anyone else. I think they had the price marked wrong, but maybe not.
Right now in eastern MA prices range from $4.55 to $4.59 a gallon. BJ's (a localish warehouse store) and Costco have better prices though. I'll find out tomorrow as I need gas after our trip.

Thanks, but I've live here all my life (so far). The first line of my post might be confusing since I didn't say "MA to Austin, TX and back."
The BJs near me is generally 10 cents a gallon less than anyone else. Cumberland Farms used to be the cheapest if you use "Smart Pay," but they are now at the upper end of pricing even with the discount. Speedway is also higher, especially since 7-11 bought them.

Regular at local Costco today was $4.09, but I checked the average price in Italy, where I'll be in two weeks, and it's $7.35 a gallon, which makes $4.09 seem a bargain.

Driving into work the Exxon at the corner of Keyser Ave. and the Morgan Highway in Scranton was $4.79/gal
When I left work it was $4.89/gal.

Prices up in Japan, too. Cost us almost $40, the most ever, to fill up our +500 mile range Prius C the other day.
On the plus side, first time we've filled it up in six weeks. (Dunno how many gallons that was, but tank has a 9.5 gal capacity.)

$3.899 at Costco in Ridgeland this morning.
I filled up about a week ago, paid $4.99 per gallon. I am lucky that I only drive 100 miles a week, at best.
Noted this A.M. regular grade advertised at $4.19 Per I feel bad for those who have to drive on a daily basis.
