Bud's prices fluctuate wildly. I've watched the Colt Rail Gun go from ~$1175 to $1050, and back, then back again. I've seen other Colt 1911s go up and down also, and some of them are currently down.

It pays to watch them over a period to get a feel for an average price.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I've found Bud's prices incredibly variable.

Buds has a "make Offer" section, and after scrolling down it I think nearly everything in inventory is on it. I have no idea how well they negotiate, but have a feeling if you were about 10-15% over cost they would sell.

I'm not sure if it varries depending on the gun or if it's just a set amount they will take off the price, but it's usually less than $10 on the guns I have saw. For example right now they have a springfield xds for $456 with the cash discount and the offer they will accept is $448, so that's only $8 on a $450 gun but I guess it beats nothing.

Yep Bud's prices go up and down each day . That 27 will be back down a 100 bucks next week .

The only thing I saved was shipping (10dollars) and sales tax (7%in NJ) the make an offer deal is a joke they give you 4or5 bids usually the lowest is only about 8 to 10 dollars off retail I was just happy to be able to get it, and the layaway gives you 90 day's to pay. If I buy anymore guns I may be looking for a new place to live !

Coach or Vera Bradley???

Zelda, I don't know much about Coach, but I have been told by certain individuals that the appropriate place to be spending the money from cheaper gas is the Vera Bradley store, not on S&W revolvers. Sigh.......

Well you can jump across the Delaware to Pa, thay covers your moving. And at the same time you can broaden your firearms ownership!

I have noticed that prices on guns only go down on the guns that I am not looking to buy. When was the last time that you saw a real sale on a quality over/under shotgun?

I agree. Bud's prices do vary. The best negotiated price was $20 off. Normally it' just a few dollars. The other thing that's annoying is that if you have a notification list they don't always notify you. If I am really chasing something I look myself everyday. Another good place to check real prices and availability is kygunco.com. There prices are sometimes higher or lower but usually not the same. They also include free shipping and they also have a cash price available.

Bud guns has that make me a offer. If you ever do that its $20 off on ever $300. Took me awhile to get it.

Guns prices like gas have been going down in both used and new markets. I bought a m69 on early 2014 for 875 just bought another last month for 750 new. Tavor in late 2013 fo 2100 another last august for 1500 same model color and new. Gun prices especially on ars are going down steady. I grabbed a 4" 500 this summer for 925 new my first 500 and 460 were 1200 years back. Dont take the price on one site for one gun and assume the worst.

If you want to see HIGH prices, come to California :p. Hell, with SSE over now, we can hardly get anything worthwhile from a store...at any price. PPT prices for desired handguns are generally ridiculous because of that.

+1.

And I have yet to see Buds be the cheapest on any gun I want. That and I won't order from someone who charges two different prices for cash/CC or uses bait and switch tactics to draw customers to their site. CC fees are a normal part of business and companies need to accept it

Man I like buds, got my browning BAR 200.00 cheaper than the shop that received it for had on the exact same 25-06. Sweet sweet rifle!
