I had to do it......could not sand it any more.

My wife's daughter let me use her 3" 9mm to test out some loads. It was stored in two light blue slippers, one inside the other !!

It was driving me CRAZY !!

Went down to a sporting goods store and bought her a Pistol
pouch with zipper and keys to lock it . As a bonus it has room for a plastic container that hold nine rounds, with room to spare. Even pouches for 4 magazines...........

I sure hope she does not want to go back to those slippers...........

Back about 1980, I bought my first handgun (4" model 19) and a gun rug to keep it in. I went to the shooting range a few times with a friend who had a nickel Python, which he kept in a gym sock.

A white cotton work sock was my dad's place to stash the old top break 38 S&W double action, he kept in his top dresser drawer. I was in high school and got him a zippered pistol rug for Christmas in 1967.
He gave the pistol to me last year....it was still in that darn sock!
Have no idea what he did with the pistol rug.
Guys and gunsocks, ladies and slippers ....what can we say.
