"Genuine" S&W display case.

I bought this display case at an antique mall in ALA. yesterday.The seller claims that it is a store display case that came from S&W.Have any of y'all ever seen such a case.It measures about two foot square and is about 4" deep.Here is a couple of quick pics.

i'm not familar with the case...but i have several of the stickers that i see inside of yours...looks like it would display some antique handguns well

Tha hardware looks like typical kitchen cabnet hardware off the building supply store shelf from the 1970s-1980s.

That is not an original S&W display case. They never made anything like that. The sticker is from the 1970's.

I used to have real S&W plexiglas display case.
I sold it on here some time ago to another collector- I think it held 18 or so handguns on two different rotating pieces inside. I used to have a picture of it, but I no longer do.

One note on the plexiglas displays, florescent lights will degrade it and turn it yellow.

If someone here has a picture of one of these racks, please post it.

Well, it seems I may have struck out on this being a "real" S&W item.I did a lot of looking on the web and came up empty.Thanks for the opinions and thoughts on the subject.I am thinking about sprucing it up a little and maybe putting my S&W knives or something like that in it.It has a real glass door with heavy mesh behind that and it locks.Lots of S&W items that I have that are just stuck in boxes hidden away would look good displayed in it.
