Georgia Arms has a new 41 Mag Cowboy load, which is not really a magnum load (800 FPS), and It really accurate through my M57 no-. Smokes a lot and the gun is pretty dirty, but it's fun to shoot. Very mild and accurate. $23 for 50.:D

So they are now making ".41 Special" ammo you say.... I'm surprised there is enough demand for them to produce it. Thanks for the info...

41 special shud be trimmed to the same length as the 44 special. My question is why would anyone want to shoot down loaded 41 mag ammo that is loaded to 41 special velocities? Why not trim the 41 mag brass to 44 special length and load that? Better yet, have Starline make you a run of brass that is headstamped 41 special?

Been there and have some from another feller

I don't know, 800+ FPS with a 210 grn LSWC, seems like a pretty good two legged varmint round to me...plenty control, if it shoots well, seems like a great idea

Wasn't Kieths proposed police load for the 41 magnum real close to that?

Auto Comp and Clays are 2 excellant powders for 750-900fps loads in .41 mag. with cast lead bullets.Excellant accuracy no leading.I like the magnum Factor, meaning should the need arise it will shoot full bore mag.loads.I have no desire to go to the range and beat myself up with 100-150 rounds of full magnum loads.I let other guys shoot the mag. loads to punch holes in paper. There is no need to trim brass to "special " length, why would you want to create a carbon ring when you don't have to ? use full length .41 mag brass.
