Anybody been there done that???

I friend of mine was coming back from Atlanta and had plenty of time to get home. He had read about the guidestones on other sites, so he thought he would check them out.

When he got to the stones he was the only one there. He said he walked around them a few times looking them over, etc...

Then the hair on his neck started to stand up, he got a creapy feeling, and got heck out of there.

Anybody with experiece on the stones???

I live about 30 miles from the Guidestones. Basically same message in a number of languages on the various stones - all probably 20 ft high and oriented to mark seasons/astro as I recall. Mystery as to paid for it. Nearby Elberton, GA is a major source of granite quarry stones for buildings, statues, etc. Lists rules for the world, but not religeous as such.

Very interesting. I've lived in GA all of my sixty three years and have never heard of the stones. Thanks for the post.

Wow, I nor my wife has heard of those. IMO these are the only "guide stones" Georgia needs.

Ted Turner paid for the things. Though there is a convoluted trail leading back to him. They were part of his one world ought to live in harmony phase... like when he gave a bunch of money to the UN.

Georgia, Sedona AZ if we find the third site then stand in the exact center of the triangle they form then can the Twilight Zone theme be heard. BTW knowing Ted Turner was involved makes the hair on my neck stand up also.
