Gerry Rafferty, Baker Street and Right Down the Line

I keep the "Best of Gerry Rafferty" and "Gords Gold" CDs in my Jeep, and have listened to them so many times I can't believe they're not worn out.;):D

I cannot hear "Blowing Free" by Wishbone Ash without being transported to a 1970s Saturday afternoon doing my homework.

It is interesting, I started copying vinyl music to reel to reel, then cassettes , then burned to CDs. from there to Ipod, now to Cell phone which via bluetooth sends to earpods, home, car, boat or outdoor system speakers. What's next??

Yes sir some nice songs and memories for sure. A while back sent for Graham Nash "Songs for Beginners" CD. Hadn't heard that since 70-71.

Used to like Roy Orbison's 'In Dreams' until I saw the Blue Velvet flick. Now, not so much. "A candy colored clown they call the sandman..."

CCR is another great band from that era that brings back warm, childhood memories.
