Get a Grip. Let's see yours.

These are recent production Badger Grips in Goncalo Alves. David gave them to me unfinished. Nothing but a couple coats of Tung oil. (Model 66)

More Badgers in Goncalo Alves...bought this set finished for a 3" Model 60.

Okay, okay, I know it's not a Smith...but these Badger Goncalo Alves with Tung oil set looks good on a Detective Special:

Got this last week. Hogue Monogrip in Rosewood. #19913. As hard as I try to like finger groove stocks, they don't work well for me. These feel great. Next trip to the range will tell me more. Bob

My 66-2, with home altered checkered Herrett S.B. target stocks. 66 is round butt! Out to the garage & tools. Cutting & sanding. Spray lacquer finish. I am happy with the results. Bob

I know everyone is probably tired of seeing them, but I love these
Culina, English Walnut, Coke profile, N frame, Exhibition Grade,
square butt grips. I prefer checkering and from what I remember
the English Walnut is a good choice for checkering because of the
density. I wanted a bit more palm swell and wanted these without
fingergrooves. I thought about getting speedloader cutouts on
both grip panels but changed my mind at the last minute.

I had myself added to the Culina's list for a set of these. It'll take a few months, but it looks to be worth it, as is with all their grips. Thanks for helping me spend my money, Gunar:)

No S&W to show off, but I will say putting these grips by Badger Grips on this 3" Detective Special was a huge improvement in looks but even more important having a good hold.

These arent wood or elk and I have both on many of my S&W's and lean towards Hogues. But my favorites grips are giraffe bone on my USFA saa's. These are custom grips by MD Grips.
