I wouldn't mind seeing Martin win the cup, or Biffle.

The worst thing about the nascar pre-race show = Jimmy Spencer

The best thing about the nascar pre-race show = Wendy Venturini :D

It's fun to see him get so excited and really would great to see him get a championship this late in his career.

I've been a Mark Martin fan for many years. He's known as the greatest driver who never won the cup.
Hopefully, that will change this year. :D

I have been a Kenseth fan since Terry Labonte retired. But I sure would like to see Martin take the 5 car all the way this year.

Have to disagree on that one. I'd much rather see Tony Stewart win, especially with a brand new team and as an owner/driver. I just can't get past the fact that Martin whines so much and waffled on retirement a couple years ago worse than Brett Favre. He's not a bad driver, but when it comes down to win or lose, he's just not aggressive enough to me. Then he tends to want to complain when someone else is.

I wouldn't be upset with Tony Stewart winning he has done a great job with his new team. But I still would like to see Martin win the championship. Either way Hendrick motor Sports wins.

A lot of drivers retire and come back, but not Like Mark Martin has. Yes he can whine some times but so can Tony and most all of the drivers. There are several drivers that are class acts and great drivers more importantly GOOD role models. Jimmy Johnson Mark Martin Matt Kenseth Greg Biffle just to name a few.

Mark Martin is a class act. If he wins the Chase this year, it will be a very good thing. Having said that, I'm a fan of Tony Stewart (Smoke) and I hope he wins the championship.

My basement is full of Mark Martin memorabilia. I have a right rear tire from a Daytona 500 made into a coffee table. I have Mark's left rear fender from the #6 Valvoline Thunderbird after the #75 Remington car (driven by Morgan Shepard) hit Mark in the 1996 Louden race. It's hanging on my basement wall. I've got a ton of Martin stuff.

While it has hurt to see him switch back to Chevy since I'm a die hard Ford fan, I'd rather root for Chevy than Toyota!

I'd love to see Mark win the championship, he is a fan favorite.

As to his "waffling" on retirement, he retired to spend more time with his son, Matt Martin, and help Matt's racing career. However, Matt decided to go to college. Mark now had four years on his hands with nothing to do so he's racing again.

When Matt gets out of college, watch out!
