Getting old sucks.

I really hate it when I mess up and do or forget things now, as I am getting older.
I know 80 is not that old but it is catching up with me.

Today was not a "Major" mess up but it was in the you dumby class.

The other day I fixed a leaking kitchen faucet and today the wife wanted to go look at a new one to solve the problem and update
"Her" pretty kitchen.

Fine, we went and looked at fittings and came home with one that she thought was just perfect.

Thats when I looked at the calender and realized that I just missed my Dr's appointment !!
Next opening is now booked for Feb 10th.

NO blood or broken bones.............

Ain't life fun.

Lighten up Ed. Stop beating yourself up. Nothing positive comes from that. Lots of people forget appointments. You know how many 20 something’s can fix a faucet? Not many.

Im in charge of Dad and me in regards to life. Thanks to my I phone calendar page it keeps me straight. I dont leave appointment desk at Dr till its registered in my phone.

Yeah, getting old sucks.

But there is really only one other alternative - dying young.

As I see it, getting old is a privilege. It's something that a lot of folks never get a chance to experience.

If I have to choose one or the other, I'd choose getting old over dying young.
