At my age I find that the memory is still good, it's the retrieval system that's slowed down!

I'm 79 and like some others on here the mistakes that I make now pale in comparison to the mistakes I made way back when I was young.
Getting old with your love one gone is what sucks......

I discovered I had an appointment with a VA contract doctor last Saturday and a gun show the same weekend. I rescheduled the Dr. appointment. Yes, getting old sucks but it beats the alternative. My mind is great. It's my nervous system that is totally shot.

If you decide to use a smart phone to loosen a nut or any plumbing fixture, gettin' old isn't exactly your worse problem! Smart phones are supposed to be used for pounding nails. They also make for an expensive target.
Yet it still beats the other option, most of the time..

Yes it sucks...I'm 63 but I don't think my brain will hold out to your age Ed.
I'm starting to forget some of the easiest most mundane things, I have to put post-it note everywhere and make tons of reminders on the iPhone.
Faces I don't forget, names are another thing...

I've never minded getting old, but being old sucks. Every day is a cliff hanger.
I'm 85 and I also changed my kitchen faucets this year. I can still walk thirty minutes in Walmart and all day at a gun show. Priorities you know.
My main concern is not getting too far away from something to help me get up.
