Not sure if its much of a ghost story, but in the early '90s I was tdy to Denver Colorado, where my great grandfather Moll happens to be buried.
This was before the internet so I went to the Denver Public Library to see what I could find out. My family had a broom factory in the early 1900s, and the librarian steered me towards a city directory from 1900. It was a thick book probably 3 1/2 inches or so and well over 1000 pages.
I walked over to a table and set the book down, and it fell open to a random page. The directory had sold ad space in the margins of the pages, and in the margin of that random page was an ad for "Moll Bros. Brooms". At the time I thought that was rather spooky. Come to think of it, I still do.
