Don't forget the samoas!

Has anybody tried the "Thank You" cookies ?

This year is the first time I've seen them, and they are the new fave around here.

I normally buy Them at the Grocery Store when They are selling Them their but Three little Girls braved below zero temps and blowing and drifting Snow going Door to Door the other day so I had to buy a bunch from Them.
It's nice to see Kid's with a desire to sell but I have to wonder about the Parents letting Them out on a day like that by Themselves.

Just seen this on the news, tractor trailer carrying Girl Scout cookies overturned on the Schuylkill Express ! I may not be getting my cookies anytime soon!

I buy them from the girl scout direct, but not from their mothers or others.
Heard tdy that they will become available in vending machines.
That kinda defeats the purpose of the girls going out and doing the work to raise money.

Girl Scout cookies are one thing I usually buy by the case. We have 2 local troops to support in my area, so I buy several cases from each of them. The thin mints freeze very well and the others...Well, they usually don't last long enough to make it to the freezer.[emoji2]

I can tell you from experience living with a girl scout troop leader for some 37 years now, that there is a eagle eyed crazed grandmother troop leader watching them. Her cookie list in one hand and a sniper rifle in the other hand.

I believe they have to be cadets around 12 or so to go out and sell without adult supervision.

Since this discussion started my order has been increased !;)
