I received 2 new 10 round factory Glock mags today that I ordered for my 27.

They appear to be factory mag's, but they don't have the metal insert where the mag catch is. I've only owned this Glock, and this is the first time I've bought extra mags for it.

Bought them on Ebay and they came in the normal sealed Glock package. Did they make some different than the rest? I added the Pearce mag extension to the mags that came with my Glock.

The ones that came with the pistol are on the right.

The new mags you purchased are the most current Gen 4 production.

As with all manufacturers, running production changes occur for various reasons.

If you have not noticed there is a 2 stamped on your original magazine below the witness holes to the right of the Glock logo which indicates a second design revision.

The bottom line is they are OEM Glock and will run fine in your gun.
