GO LIONS!!!!!! 6-2 Holy ****!!!!

With the greatest respect to the Texas Members-I hope the Lions beat the snot out of Dallas this week :D

Took them awhile to get it done, but they did.

One of these days they are gonna have to start playing the whole game instead of just the second 1/2

Da Bears will be next victims. I should be a Colts fan.

Hey - Cheer up :) ---
Cutler has even hinted that some of the offensive linesmen are remembering to block...
They can only get better

Hopefully detroit will go into the game thinking that it will be an easy win - One can hope ;)

Go Bears!

HEY - Da Hawks crank up this week too...

I guess y'all now know that my second favorite NFL team is the one that's playing Dallas in any given week :D
I'd like to see them play LSU or Alabama.

I watched the game yesterday, they sure are for real and are adding a lot of spice to the NFL. GO LIONS

If there is one person I dislike in the entire NFL, it's the man that dosen't stay where he belongs. The famous Jerry Jones, who should be selling hot dogs at the concession stand during the game.

I'll bet the defensive coordinator for the Houston Texans is enjoying himself this season.

I'm finally thinking my Lions are the real deal and on the way to respectability. Every week I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.

That said, I think we have the right coach and staff and are started on the road to rebuilding the franchise with a core of quality players. However the "O" line is going to need an overhaul sooner than later. I also think Matt Stafford has the tools to become an elite QB and nobody knows a bad team until you go 0-16 and when your there the only way is up. Thanks, Matt Millen for all you have done for the Lions. To all "da Bears" "cheeseheads", and "purple people eaters" fans - the kittys are coming back and your team needs to triple team Calvin but watch out for Kong Suh.

Having been a Packers fan for about forty years, I realized that my steadfast support was what won them the Super Bowl last year. So..... I told my wife in June to pick me up a Lions jersey the next time she was down in Las Vegas. I've been wearing it since the season started.
As you can see, it's working!
Go Lions.:D

So, if your steadfast support got GB a SB, please do the same for us LIONS fans. ;)

labworm, us guys in MI absolutely are going nuts. I had to be a closet LIONS fan for yrs. Last yr, not so much. Now, it's gettin better all the time.

BaldEagle, Seahawks can go 0-16 to tie, ahh, another team that did it. And yes, Seattle winning NFC West last year at 7-9 was pathethic as far as records go, that was all it took. 6-10? If a team can't go 7-9 or .500 even, it should be a rule, no playoffs.

Well as predicted the game was interesting but they made a comeback to win. We'll see how they do in Dallas.

Yes, but they gotta stop doin this. It worked against the Cowgirls, ain't gonna fly w/. the Pack, or Saints. Maybe Chargers. An we know how how they did in Dallas. :D

JcMack, best you're not a Colts fan, maybe next yr.
I had to adopt the Colts as my team, along w/. Steelers & Vikes. I did that about 2-3 yrs ago, but still quietly rooted for my Lions. When Schwartz came in, good changes were & are being made. Dry spell is gone, after too many yrs. :)

Others are waiting for that shoe too. Well said.

Time to get rid of Peterman, he costs us too many penalities last yr, & even has a few this yr. Needs to work on his disclipline (or lack of).
Stafford is an elite QB, just needs to stay healthy.

Well despite the penalties that cost us some opportunities, once again the Lions prevail
Who would have thought that both my teams (Lions & Packers) would be the only unbeaten teams going into week 6.

Frankly, what happened last night was not a game. The Lions looked like the were hungry and wanted to kill. They scared the Bears into how many false starts? My calculator broke trying to keep up.

Last night's game (Lions vs Bears).

Cutler can be proud, he was the only one really playing. And doing it well.

The Lions hopefully got an a#% chewing after the stupid first quarter penalties.

And after that they played like a team that is going somewhere.

I am a Pittsburg and Green Bay fan. Yes, in last years Superbowl I was "torn". But it became the only "win-win" situation I have ever had in my life.

But I love underdogs and am now pulling for the Lions as well.

Only bad thing about Detroit is you might misspell Loins. :D
Can't wait for the Thanksgving game against the Pack.
To all you Lions fans, I remember how excited we all were down here with the Saints when they won their first 12 or 13 games in 2009! Enjoy the ride.

Who knew that their defense was worth watching? I like that Vanden Bosch guy. Looks like a bald version of Jack Lambert. Thanksgiving day will be interesting.

Eh don't feel bad-we got whacked yesterday too. Plus our coach is on injured reserve cause our tight end hit him a cheap shot out of bounds:D

Well, like Jim Schwartz said "We are not going to be 16-0 this year!"

As far as Barry Sanders's goes - When we use to go to the Pontiac Silverdome when he was playing it was always said "Let's go watch Barry" nothing was said about watching the Lions. Years later, I met him on 3 or 4 occasions. The guy is not whatever they listed him at 5'9". He's is 5' 7" and as humble and polite as anyone I've ever met. I mentioned to him about the run on the Patriots secondary where he turned a safety around about three times and the Pat's defense complained it was like tackling a ghost - all they were grabbing was air. He just looked at me and all he said was"yeah, that was one of the good games". Really a nice guy.

I always felt badly for him; the best running back in history(in my view of course) running his heart out year after year, and the team going nowhere. I would love to have a DVD with nothing but highlights of him faking out defenders and leaving them in the dust. Talk about entertainment!
