The other day I called S&W parts to inquire about some recoil springs I had ordered for my 4506 about 6 mos. ago. I figured that they got lost or stolen or just plain forgotten but the nice lady at S&W informed me that they were STILL ON BACK ORDER! I really don't care about that ( I increased the order X2!), but I can't believe we are overwhelming the "system" so badly!

Thanks to the great folks at S&W for keeping track of all this stuff, not charging for back orders, and just plain doin' their best in keeping these great firearms in tip-top shape!

Wolff

Wolff springs has recoil springs for a 4506 in stock now. They also have a large selection of stronger and weaker springs to accommodate hotter or milder loads. I have ordered from them and their product is top notch. Just as good or better than factory springs. Just my .02.

I just checked, and MidwayUSA also has them in stock now for 1.99 a piece... can't beat that.

I ordered 4506 recoil springs from both Brownell's and Wolff. Wolff's came straight away and Brownell's was minimal wait for back order.
