Just wondering what a good price for the S&W 10 is going for at this point in time? This is the one I'm looking at..

Product: Model M&P10 .308 WIN/ 7.62x51

I know they can go for over MSRP with our times but what would be a fair price that would be considered a good deal at this point in time.. Thanks! George

The one I'm looking at is $1499. I think it's a great price for today's market.. Not going to buy it but it's tempting to say the least.. I don't want to aggravate the wife you know! George

Paid $1600 only because they were the only place I could find one.

paid 1650 before tax ..
south florida prices are crazy .. and only one store in a 100 hr radius had it .. not even the gun show had any :(

Thanks Guy's, I was really interested in what they were going for around the country in our day and time of scarceness.. The Ar-10 was at my local dealers. The price was as stated 1499 out the door no tax or fees... It's something I really wanted but don't really need as I just shoot paper targets my Ar-15 will do that just fine. I don't hunt. Darn nice gun though!! Thank you all! George

Man!! You got the deal that's unheard of in our times!! I'll check them out online.. Thank you! George

Purchased mine three weeks ago for about $1,100 from Bullet Trap in Plano, Texas

Well Bullet Trap must like selling for loses - because trust me, that is WAY under dealer price - I am calling BS on this post

I HAD A LOOK AT IT this weekend and man it looked nice.. I think the price is fair at my mom and pop store but there is no way I could justify it to myself or my wife at this time as I don't want to buy it to sell I could do the same with ammo because when I can get it it's at a fair price too.. But I'm not out to buy and sell or gouge other people just because demand it up. I enjoy this hobby for myself.. Thank you all!! George

No BS. Smith&Wesson has a pretty agressive LEO and Military discount program... If you qualify. Definitely why I'm a closet S&W fanboy. I too was able to score an M&P10 for about $1100 earlier in the year on a military discount. It is a limited program from what I understand and not all dealers have access to them either. A few here have got them that cheap.

With that said, I think $1400 is a great price.

I picked one up for $1349.00 2 weeks ago - and saw another distributor selling them at very close to that price - shipped! Apparently supply has started to catch up with demand on these.....

Just picked one up from a Marine Corp Exchange for $1200 and no taxes. Now just need to find ammo. Also just ordered Troy folding front and rear sights. Going to be awhile till I can get a new scope and free floating rail.

Yeah, I was able to find mine at the Marine Exchange in Quantico, VA, for $1229.00. Of course, no sales tax at the exchanges. They were selling them fairly quick!
