My local fun shop just got in an excellent condition model 629-1 with a 6" barrel. I wanted to know whats the going rate for these? It's in mint shape with the factory target wood stocks on it, but no box or docs. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Tks,

A local pawnshop has on in the display for $650.00. No Box No papers.

I have one in my safe I bought brand new back in December of 1982 and if I had a nickle for every round I've fired thru it, I could buy every chinaman in the world a Cadillac.

I got my money's worth out of it being stainless, if it were blued it would probably look like hell.

I paid 650 for it back then, presentation case and all.

I couldn't tell you where the presentation case is now, I think my kids used it to carry crayons to school in.

I figure 650 is about right if you have all the accouterements and it's in good shape.

500-550 if it's the gun alone and a shooter.

The last Crossroads Show I went to in Phoenix I saw several that were very clean and could have gotten them for 550-575 with little effort as it was right before Christmas.

I was trying to do the math on this and my calculator caught on fire!
Is that new Cadillac's or old junker ones?

Yes 500 is a fair price, thats what I paid this spring out here in Ca. where all guns seem to go for more then in the free states.
Buy and enjoy they are a lot of fun and very accurate.
