Gone for a while.... Whats up with the blue springs and "new" magazines?

I have (2) 15-22s with flash hider. Neither has the blue springs or new mags. What exactly did Smith change by doing this? Should I send mine back? I get about 2% FTF FTE and the "magazine" issue.
Please elaborate why they changed the parts and mags.
I wonder if Smith would take my 15 mags back and exchange them for new ones?

Holy smokes, 15 mags? I suppose they would if they all had issues. Lable them and see if any mags continue to have problems more than others.

they took my 4 and said they are going to replace them.

I had the same question (minus the 15 mags and having an extra 15-22... but other than that ) and I think if you look under the 'instructional videos' post there is a link to a video labeled "New Spec" or some such and will probably answer some of your questions.

well, i can say this about mine.
before those items were replaced it didn't shoot worth a crap. - about 15-20% ftf.
with them, so far 0%...

it doesn't sound like you are having the problems i had. however, i would send it in just to get it "patched" and you will also get the new style of mag which seems to also feed better. I got mine back from S&W in about a week and a half..eztarget was about the same time maybe shorter. also...since i got mine back it has worked flawlessly.

Does anyone know the specifics of why they changed the spring? (Are they lighter)?? How about the mags? What did they change about them?
