good day shootin'
got to do some shooting today. shot really well......

I did mostly drawing and quick aquisition shooting...double taps on multible targets.
so those targets arent really worth showing, hit what I was aiming at but not total accuracy.

but these 2 I took my time, and made 12 shots at each target @ 10yards....

In total I put 125 rounds throught the 9ve today and not one hiccup!!! i love my gun!!

BTW I shot mostly Federal FMJ115grain, and I like them much better than the
white box winchesters, i had been shooting....alot cleaner!!!
anyway, just wanted to share!

A Good Way to Celebrate

What a good way to celebrate the freedom our country has!
You might find one or two better ways to celebrate, but your way is
right up there! TACC1

Great shooting there did go to the range myself yesterday and took my 40ve and 9ve did a little better than i did last weekend.

thanks guys...i had a great time...even told my wife, "perfect day, get to shot guns, and fireworks!" lol

but I am glad we can get out and let rounds loose!!!
:)

Very nice.

Mind if I ask your POA and what part of your trigger finger you use, as in tip, pad or joint? I'm trying to improve my technique. I get loose groups to the right and I'm right handed. I've only done this w/ the Sigma.

I believe the loose groups to the right are from the LONG DAO trigger pull. Be real smooth and make sure you keep the gun level and true, sidetoside, as you smoothly pull the trigger. I to am right handed and i used to shoot right, low and high. You can see this in my pics...I shot the first three rounds each time not concentrating on keeping the gun right where I want it. Understand that by the time you get the trigger to break, you have unintetionally pulled the gun to the right BARELY, but it doesnt take much to get a handgun to shoot wide. So I concentrate on being super smooth and keeping the gun on tareget...

here is the way I aim for accuracy,
I line up the top of the sights, then hide the red bullseye (or whatever it is) right behind the sights, by just barely raising the gun. But making sure I keep the gun level, with flush sights, and true right and left, and like I said just hiding the intended POI behind the front sight..

And im not 100% sure LOFL, but I believe I use my pad of my finger..

Nice shooting! The DAO trigger takes some getting used to. Mine is smooth out of the box. It seems S&W improved it a lot. I also love my Sigma 9mm.
