Good evening ladies and gentlemen,
I am a 29 yr old Brit, living in NE Ohio as a happily settled legal permanent resident! Been in the US for nigh on 5 years now, and am loving the 2nd amendment!
Coming from a county as draconian as the UK in its self defense laws, and gun ownership, the US has been a quite the eye opener. It has been amazing to me how open and easily available it is to obtain a firearm (criminal statutes and prohibitions aside!) for the purpose of recreation and self defense.
I have recently obtained my CCW/LTCAH permit as the area of NE Ohio I live in is really not the safest around, and as I have a wife and 3yr old to protect, I felt a firearm was the best option, considering the area I live in.
So there we have it. A little about me.
Oh, and as a little PS.. I carry an M67 4"bbl in an uncle mikes IWB. So used to it now, I sometimes forget I have it! I will be wanting to find out more info on this gun (date of manufacture etc) however I will post that on the appropriate forum.
