So, in the interest of full disclosure this wasn't some random civilian with a concealed handgun permit (the peasantry don't get to have guns in Brazil) she was an off duty cop. Clearly one with some experience.

on world news tonight saw the short video of an off duty miltary police women nail that guy robing the mother and chilod. CENTER MASS 1 SHOT it looked like. disbelief on preps face. he went down hard, wonder if she had a 45 cal. pistol?

If it's the same video of the women MP in Brazil, according to the Active Self Protection video and youtube comments, she shot him three times with a Taurus PT640 .40 cal.

From all the Brazilian videos he uses, Brazil seems like the Wild West.

If that was karma, it came quickly! How that woman was able to respond so quickly is beyond me. However it was, it didn't work out so well for the bad guy. Geez!

Think about it - who is out and about in the early morning hours? In many cases the kind of folks you don't want to meet.


I say this as a result of working many midnight tours in an urban area, all we saw were cops, FD, paramedics and mostly victims. To a vastly lesser extent, regular working folk.

Yes the masses in Brazil can not obtain firearms. Looks like police and criminals are the only ones pack'n
