I bid on this Model 65 as a gun without grips or sideplate. Imagine my surprise when my lgs presented me my "gun in a bag" and the sideplate and grips were included, just not installed. Made a tough day at work end as a great day! Revolver was dirty but cleaned up very well. BBT serial prefix.

Not like you don't take those parts off on a used gun purchase anyways to give a good cleaning and inspection! That was a great win for the afternoon. Congrats!

Every once in a while, karma smiles upon each of us. Good on you!
My recent karma was also in the form of a 3" 65. Wonderful guns!

Buick for the win! Sounds like you may have used up a big chunk of your good Karma, though. ;) Getting the matching side plate is a seriously big deal! :D

Honestly, i liked to've fell out the boat when the lgs guy held up the bag containing the sideplate, hammer block, grips, and screws. Had no idea they were included, never mentioned or pictured in the ad.
I had located a sideplate and i had some grips, but this worked out a lot better! Beer money!
