Ole Joe Clark
Absent Comrade
It's a great day to be alive and be among friends on the forum! Just finished breakfast, including a wonderful homemade biscuit. I managed to display remarkable self control when I asked my MBH to remove the second biscuit from my plate just before we ate.
If you are like me, you are suffering from Thanksgiving pig out syndrome, or something like that.
We went to our Daughter's home for dinner on Thursday, and I overdid it, and am still suffering that bloated feeling.
Lots of great food and fellowship, even had salmon patties on the table, along with sweet potato casserole, green beans, corn, turkey, and chicken dressing. Then I had pumpkin pie for dessert. The pie goes really well with some coffee early in the morning. There is still part of a pie in the fridge. A great day to be thankful and to give thanks to the Creator of all that is.
My favorite ball team got beat like a drum yesterday, but I didn't loose any sleep over it.
Better get out my heavy coat, because the temperature is supposed to drop like a rock into the mid 20's tomorrow night. Anything below 32° is cold in Dixie.
I hope you all have a blessed Sabbath, and get back into the routine tomorrow. Our week is full of Doctor and dental appointments and blood work, all that exciting stuff. :-(
Take care, love you all,
Leon
