Hello, my LGS has the Shield 9mm m2.0, regular sights, no thumb safety (model # 11808) for $364 total price out the door. Is this a good price? I have a v1.0 Shield which is doing fine, but I've been tempted to upgrade to the M2.0...

Nice, I got my 1.0 for $299 shipped, then did the $75 mail in rebate for a final price of $224.99.

Has anyone ever used Big Daddy Unlimited? They claim to have the lowest prices around but you have to me a member and pay a monthly fee. You can't see their prices unless you become a member. I'm curious what they are selling the Shield model # 11808 for and if it's worth becoming a member.

Seems like the price of the Monthly Fee would impact the over-all price, especially if they don't include Free Shipping. Heck... Depending on how many Months it may take to find the piece you are looking for, the Monthly Fee could end up costing you more than Shipping and Taxes.

There are plenty of online stores with competitive prices don't charge a Monthly fee.

@RobzGuns Yeah I definitely agree with you on all that. Ideally I'd like to see what the price is before becoming a member. I don't make purchases often enough to justify fee every month, so it would probably be a one and done kind of thing. So I'm curious if anyone here is a member, what BDU charges for the # 11808 model.

@Real Old Navy thanks for the suggestions on upgrades, but that's not really what I intended this post to be about, perhaps that is a separate discussion. (But for the record, I currently have the Apex DCAEK and AEK trigger in my 1.0 Shield, and Ameriglo Pro iDot yellow sights). If I purchase a 2.0 Shield I would be keeping all internals stock, and only change the sights. I don't really need a 2.0 since my 1.0 is fine, I'm just playing with the idea of upgrading to the 2.0 if I can get it at the right price for me.

I think I got my Shield 9 2.0 last year from Palmetto State Armory for around $279, but I can't recall for sure. I had to pay a $40 transfer fee at my local FFL, but it was still cheaper than any I could find elsewhere. Keep a watch at PSA.

PSA often has the original Shield for $250 as a "daily deal."

I think Shields are the best value CC gun on the market. I love mine.

GrabAGun has them in stock for $350 with $7.99 two-day shipping. No CC fees for online orders.

They are that right now.

I've seen $329 shipped at a few online stores. Also S&W might do another summer rebate. And maybe PSA or others will do another heavily discounted deal on the 2.0.
Right now I have no true reason to upgrade so I only have more to gain by waiting. I think I'm going to wait it out longer and keep an eye on prices over the summer.

I paid $306 out the door taxes and all for a 1.0 a week or so ago here in East TN.

That's the v1.0. This post is concerning the Shield 2.0.
But that's a great price you got on the v1 Shield.
