Really Bad Third Circuit Carry Permit Decision 9/10/2025

Today, 9/10/2025, the Third Circuit issued a really bad decision on where New Jersey can and cannot prohibit concealed carry.



This is not legal advice, but my preliminary read of the Decision is as follows:

With a carry permit carry is allowed (i.e. the NJ prohibition is no good):

In automobiles; and

In Private Property even without express permission.

Even with a carry permit carry is not allowed:

Public gatherings requiring a permit;

Zoos;

Parks, beaches and recreation facilities;

Public Libraries and Museums;

Locations that serve alcohol;

Entertainment facilities;

Casinos;

Public Transit;

Healthcare facilities;

Playgrounds;

Youth sports events;

IMHO this is a really ignorant decision by two Biden and Obama appointed judges over the forceful dissent by a Trump appointed judge.

Just one example, under the decision, people with carry permits can travel with their guns in their private cars -- poor slobs who need to use public transportation need to leave their guns at home.

So remember, if you want to shoot a bunch of people without that nasty thing where they defend themselves and shoot back, these are the areas set up by the courts for this kind of thing.

Yeah, the New Jersey overlords don't want to create a situation in which "blood will flow in the streets" and "it will be just like the wild west"; unlike the current situation in their major urban centers in which due to their draconian gun laws, blood currently flows in the streets and it's just like the wild west.

Not sure if it will ever change but it's time the Supreme Court killed every state issued gun ban and preemptively stopped any future attempts. Too much crap is hitting the wall and not getting cleaned off before the supremes can react.

Pass a law that allows agenda driven judges to be removed from office and this will stop instantly. If not fire a few and let that sink in. In really egregious cases fired without recourse, meaning their retirement goes away.

SCOTUS has no enforcement arm, so these POS's just keep ignoring rulings.

Pass a law that allows agenda driven judges to be removed from office and this will stop instantly. If not fire a few and let that sink in. In really egregious cases fired without recourse, meaning their retirement goes away.

United States judges have lifetime tenure under the Constitution and can only be removed via impeachment and trial in the Senate.

The way to have judges who respect the Second Amendment is:

1) Encourage the current Senate to confirm President Trump's current nominees ASAP;

2) Do what you can to keep the Senate on the side of the 2A;

3) Donwhat you can to have the next president be on the 2A side
