I've been looking on cdnn and gunbroker at 6906s. I'm leaning toward getting one for $369 + shipping, transfer, etc off of gunbroker from an outfit in Henderson, Tennesse called Robertson Trading post. They show the exact gun I'd be getting, as opposed to rolling the dice with CDNN and hopping I get a really good one. Sound like a good price?

The 6906 I received from CDNN looks nicer than the ones from Robertson. Can't recall ever hearing any horror stories from people who have dealt with CDNN. I'm sure that there are always exceptions to the rule though. If I were in the market for another 6906, I would not hesitate to take my chances with CDNN and use the $40 towards ammo.

I agree. I have purchased many items, many times from CDNN and have never been disappointed. In fact, one time I asked the sales person to root through a lot of stuff, pick out the best and ship it to me. Did he do it? Well, I am not sure, but what I am sure of is that I received near new product and a fair price. Buy it and ammo from them. Beats shipping charges twice. :)

I agree with scatterguy, go for the CDNN 6906.

My local paramilitary gun dealer buys some bulk lots of former LEO S&W pistols from CDNN and they are always much nicer than the grade marked on the box. My 6906 was a former corrections department gun which I paid $379 for. It was labeled as VG but grades out at 95% in reality.

S&W should still be making the 6906 and 3913 as they are among the best CCW 9MM's ever made. You can't go wrong with either.

Called CDNN and they assured me that they are all pretty good looking and I'm not going to end up with an old model with square trigger guard. Shipping is $23 as opposed to $10 from the outfit in Henderson. So, it would be $27 cheaper for the CDNN one. One thing I like about the outfit Roberstson's is that they Show the serial number so I know I'd be getting a 1999 Production. As opposed to maybe getting something older from CDNN that had seen a little more action at the range. I'll let you know what I do. Thanks for advice...I might follow it. :)

Ive bought two of the 6906 from CDNN they are both great and much better looking than the ones from Robertson.

I've bought 4 guns from CDNN (2 CZ-82s, 4566, 6906) and all were in better shape than expected. The 6906 had only a faint scratch on the frame and functioned flawlessly. The shipping, not counting FFL fee, was less than $23.

My 6906 from CDNN was serial numbered TDS6xxx. According to Gunbroker, their TDS has a date of manufacture of1990. I called S&W and they told me it was manufactured in 2000. I believe S&W. The number on the other side of the gun is the CA DOC number to make sure all parts stay on the same gun. My gun was in VG condition and fires just fine with the necessary accuracy to be a CCW gun. Go with CDNN.

My father purchased an Isreali Hi-power from Robertson Trading Post...he called them and the guy went and got the gun and answered all of my Dads questions with it in his hand....with them you know exactly what your getting....I am also a big fan of CDNN

I have purchased three S&W pistols from CDNN plus some extra magazines. I have been impressed with their grading scale every time.

I have looked at a lot of guns from Robertsons but never bought one.
