Good news for a change. The weather man is promising us folks here in So. Central Texas a return to normal winter weather patterns for next week. We are going to have temps in the mid to high 70s, clear and sunny skies. It's about time. We have had more than our allotted cold for one year.

We finally got above freezing today. It's been brutal for the past few weeks, with some lows below zero.

The forecast is high 30's low 40's until tomorrow night. I went and got the salt washed off our vehicles before lunch today. The Mrs was thrilled that I cleaned her Bronco!

We are at what appears to be all time record high of 48 degrees f, with more seasonal cooling off coming forthwith. A lot better than record low of -45.

Zelda will be enjoying 5th straight day of afternoon walks. Previously she has had to bark at anything that moves on brief excursions outside, just to stay in practice.

We’re having a heat wave! It’s 46 degrees right now (out at the airport) when last week it was 4.6 degrees, above and below zero. In those temperatures I think about all the roof top HVACR units I used to have to work on. I don’t miss it at all! Let’s be careful out there! My son was on call all last week (same commercial HVAC work.)

Pictures like that will keep Southern Californians like me up at night.:D

It's 72 here. Oh, you meant outside? Never mind...

72?!?!?!?! Man I’m glad I’m not paying your gas bill. Ours is 67. But I’d prefer 65. My wife keeps bumping it up when I’m not looking

We’ve been much warmer than normal. In the low 50’s this week. Barely any snow to speak of. There are more cold days ahead, but temperatures look to be mostly above zero! When winter is finally over, we will have had a pretty mild winter, if long term forecasts are accurate. 50’s and 60’s by March.

Its been great here in OKC and they just said we will be at 78 degrees next Wednesday. That's a little too hot for me but I do need to work on my tan.

Winter storm warning for Sunday, Tuesdays forecast high of 6. Winter should end late March or early April.
At 78 our AC is running heavier than the furnace does now.

We went from an unusually warm December to an unusually chilly January. Nights in the teens and days in the 40's and 50's. Starting to warm up today though, days in the 70's and low 80's this weekend and next week.

Thank goodness! I didn't move to Arizona to be cold. I haven't ridden my bike for almost a month.

We had a lot rain earlier today, but the temps dropped. We're now getting heavy snow.

The Mrs offered to pick up Chinese food before this stuff started. If the roads get too bad, she can always drive through the ditch! :p

If the weather isn't what you want, wait 15 minutes...

A proud Ford family! The neighborhood looks familiar to me.
