Bid on a old nib Shield 40 on GB, just putzing around cause it was so cheap. Got it. Guess I need to order a trigger from Apex. DUH! Pictures and range report in a couple weeks.

Order the Apex striker block kit first , then decide on the trigger .
This change only will make the trigger pull smoother and lighter .Then deside which grip insert places the finger on the trigger for a straight back pull and then decide on other upgrades . Getting a straigh back pull removed most of the grittyness in early triggers . Might not be the best but nice for a defense trigger pull .

The striker block kit was worth doing? I will have to take a look, thanks! I had stayed away from the Shields cause years ago I tried the trigger and absolutely hated it.
