Shield Plus and My J-frames

So I have some J-frames -- Chief's Special, 642PC, Bodyguard38, a 37 Airweight, 12-2 and two Rossis that were the perfect size for pocket carry when I wore a tucked-in shirt.
And I was a happy camper and felt well protected for where we live.
And then, and then, and then I watched one of those Honest Outlaw videos where he extolled the virtues of a Shield Plus (I have a couple of Shield EZs); saw one at a good price on Gunbroker, and went for it.
Same size as my Js. 10 rounds instead if 5. Decent trigger. And I shoot it okay.

And now I have a half-a-safe full of semi-redundent J frames.

Not that I'm selling any of them quite yet, but that Plus is a very nice gun.
And I'm thinking about trying to find a larger manual safety (I think there's a guy grafting a 1911 safety onto a Plus mechanism) and briefly thought about doing an Apex job on the trigger. (I won't, but maybe a new striker safety).

And maybe I shouldn't have ordered a Ruger LCR but I guess I could carry one in each pocket and then I'd have 10 rounds?

Wondering if anyone else has had to "retire" a favorite carry gun after trying on a Plus?

I retired everything after the Shield Plus mostly because my old eyes want a dot to shoot with. Focusing on the target is so much better. I carry IWB with the 13 round mag.

Never carried a snubby and have no interest in a shield or ez version soooo. I started with a 1911 in 45acp 49 years ago and along the way added a 40sw to the cc options . At 70 I still CC ether a 1911 in 45 or a m&p full size in 40sw concealed of course . Holster is a MTAC warn at 3:00 . ZI have a couple 9mm's but will I CC one ? No idea , Maybe one day .

Retired the 9EZ in favor of the shield plus. Latest concern is actually the BG2.0 retiring the shield plus!

BG 2.0 for hot summer days. Shield plus 9mm for the rest of the year.

Oh No! A BG 2.0? I've got an EZ in .380 and (again thanks to Honest Outlaw) a Ruger Security in .380 .
I don't think I could retire any more guns.
And to Hardluck1 -- I think there's too much shirtsleeve weather here in the Seattle area to CC a 1911. But good on ya mate for carrying the way you do.

My Performance Center M&P Shield Plus 9 has become my "go to" CCW pocket carry gun (also for AIWB). It replaced my 642-2 and my Colt Defender, both of which I had carried for years. The Shield Plus is flat and concealable, fast and accurate, and holds a bunch of rounds. Although I'm a big fan of the stopping power of the larger .45 ACP, modern 9mm ammo is extremely effective.
