Today I went and purchased a new 9mm shield. Was on the fence with this one as I have PC shield in 9mm but it's been at S&W for the last month. They have had it back longer than I had it.

I like the shield and my local dealer had them today at $359. They had a pile of them actually. Was $399 but down today so out the door with tax $381. After rebate it will be $306. Couldn't pass this one up.

They had it 45 but at $429. Better trigger and nice since fit my hand well. The grip felt like 40 grit sand paper but I could get used to it. May get one of those before the end of the rebate but will see.

I'm tempted to buy another one too. Kentucky Gun Co has the 9 for $249.99 and the 45 for $264 after rebates and free shipping.

The prices online are cheap. In my area in CT dealer cost of $359 is tough to beat. I know I could of saved a little buying online but after transfer fee it would be about 30 cheaper but difference is no waiting and I get to pick the one I want to take home so... but it's getting harder to pass on some of the online deals.

I wasn't dissing your deal. But not everyone lives in CT. You got a good price. Rock on.

Didn't think you were dissing anything and didn't take it that way. I would of probably purchased online if I didn't find this deal today.

Not living in CT would be a good thing as well. Unless you like outragios taxes, dumb *** gun laws, and criminal politicians. I myself planning leaving in 2-3 years and heading back to Texas.

I'm trying to resist the urge to by a Shield in .45. I don't need it.. but damn, that pricing is good.

Congrats on getting a 9mm. I've got one (bought 3 weeks ago, grr..) - great gun.

I took advantage of a local deal on the 45 Shield:) I had been wanting one to try out after reading all the positive reports and the rebate was the clincher!
Should be interesting and a fun learning curve.

I spent a few years in Dallas one summer [emoji3]. I frequently buy local because the small shop I deal with usually undercuts any deal I can find. And he's a good guy.

I bought a 9mm PC last Tuesday at Bass Pro for $499. Used a bunch of gift cards. Went yesterday 4/2/17 to another store and the wife bought a Bodyguard with the Crimson Trace for $349. with the rebate. They were also selling the 9mm PC for $404 with the rebate. I thought those prices were decent.

The Kentucky Gun Company adds a 3rd factory magazine with the Shield 9mm, according to the video on their Facebook page. Sales tax kills local deals for me plus online stores have better prices. And my dealer charges $0 for FFL transfers.

I just bought a 9mm Shield today for $319 + tax. $341 otd or $266 after my rebate comes in. Store is Everything Concealed Carry in Clarksville Indiana and they have been selling 9mm Shields for $319 since well before Christmas. The rebate motivated me to buy another gun I didn't need but now you'd have to pry it out of my cold dead fingers to get it back. Or offer me a $20 profit. :D

What you waiting for fella....go..go..go...you are not going to find it cheaper and believe it or not the 45 (check Ripley's) is more accurate than the 9mm. I had both then sold my 9.

My .45 Shield is on the way.... been going back and forth between that or an M&P 45c.... the rebates that came out swung that vote. After rebate I'll be in only $270.
My 9mm is gonna be jealous.

I think after rebates, the Whittakers email I got was $225 for any caliber. Can't remember what their shipping was, maybe $15 or so last thing I bought from them.

Yeah my deal had free shipping....saved me some money versus just picking up at my LGS

Apparently due to the high demand they rise the price the shield 45 is listed now at $399 :( Grabagun is priced at $339 ..anyone has dealt with them before? I usually don't buy online, but I guess the deals are way better than the local gun shop.

Yep the rebate is a deal matched with lower prices it was an easy call to make.

Let me ask for those who submitted the rebate online other than the screen saying the submission was entered did anyone get an email or anything stating the rebate was being processed? Kind of thought I would of but perhaps not.
