Got a problem with a gunsmith, need advice

Do you have anything like a claim ticket, receipt, or the like to show he has your gun?

You don't leave your dry cleaning without a ticket

All else fails take a weekend, hop on a plane, and knock on his door

Well one more thought, we are all family here. If you name the gunsmith its likely some one here lives right by him. I would then ask that person to introduce himself as your cousin and inquire about your fire arm. I am sure he would not release it to said "cousin" but a visual would help or answer questions. There could be a host of physical issues as to the delay, lets think positive, and give the benefit of a doubt. Maybe its sitting there ready for a year, he passed away and the family is looking for the owner because the takes are off of it???
