Got Horrible Service. So Why Do I Feel Bad Ranting?

The Woke employees went to public school and are doing the absolute best they can possibly do. They don't even know they are dumb. They feel normal, and that we are wrong in expecting them to apply to the job at hand. I don't go to restaurants anymore because I know if I don't knuckle under they will spit in the tacos.

Appreciate the insights and good responses.

On the price it has gone up lately. One was a "Giant" and one regular size and I did get 2 cookies so added a bit there. I really like the franchise but do cringe at the price sometimes.

And I realize they didn't "amputate the wrong leg" but having screwed the order up not once but twice I think I can be upset over paying for something I didn't order or wouldn't even eat.

I was always told the Air Force was the way to go. :)

It could be worse. One summer I went out for a long (for me) bike ride - I think it was around 60 miles. By the time I was done, I was starving. On the way home I stopped at the McD's drive through and ordered a burger. Pulled away and dug it out of the bag -- and discovered it was really a Filet-O-Fish. Ick.

Here's an unhappy restaurant customer who gets his point across:

When I was stationed in Germany a friend and I used to go to the same restaurant downtown at least once a week. We almost always got the same meal. One we went in, the server seated us and walked away without even leaving a menu. We sat there for half an hour waiting for our menus and just as we were getting ready to walk out the server brought our usual order to the table. She got a large tip that night.

As for now, my wife and I have done take out four times since I retired. There's really no restaurant that makes food I like better than her's.

As for getting poor service from any business, it's been my experience complaining doesn't change anything because they DON'T care. It's also been my experience that if you "disrespect" your server they'll screw up your order in ways you never imagined. I don't bother

AMEN!

Quoting SMOKE

Unfortunately this is too often true.
Total indifference at all level of the staff.

Most people don't get anything when they complain because they don't know how to complain or what they want.

1) Have a specific complaint.
2) Tell them exactly what you want them to do to fix the problem.
3) Don't be afraid to keep escalating if you don't get what you want.

Two years ago I was looking for a new truck. Neither the sales manager nor the individual salesman seemed all that interested in selling me a truck. This, despite my having bought or helped others buy over a dozen cars and trucks from the this store over the course of 20 years.

I called the owner of the dealership and left a voice mail asking him to call me back to discuss the issue so we could get a deal done.

Within the hour I got a call back from his executive assistant apologizing an asking when I could come in. When I went in, the sales manager personally handled the deal.

My wife used to do customer service and she always said that when someone had a specific complaint and a specific demand, it was easy to make them happy.

It seems that in this current society and time that nothing gets done right anymore. It seems as if society has lost its mind. Perhaps a part of end times scenario as noted in Genisus.

You have the right to feel what you feel. Very simple.
When i was looking for the essay writing service i spend hours reading different reviews and was thankful to people who left their honest feedback so can avoid doing their mistakes. At the end i found https://www.topessaywriting.org/sаmples/government and was very happy with the services they provided to me.

On the flip side, I've worked in retail (family owned hardware store) part time whilst at high school and university. There was a number of difficult customers who couldn't ba apprised no matter how what the situation. Customers attempting to get Trade Discount (license builder/contractor) when they were just DIYers.

And don't get me started about Customer Service when I was a Police Officer. I got my share of CS complaints against me however none were "Sustained".

Yeah, ick, cause a burger from McDonalds is soooo much better.
