I have been looking at .22 revolvers and since I'm a relative noob to wheelguns, it took a while to deal with the price of them compared to larger calibers. Anyway, I've been bidding on a few on GB and AA always to get outbid by someone with deeper pockets or more patience than me to sit there and keep going back and forth with the 10 and 15 minute rules.
So, after being frustrated from losing a nice 63 that JacktheDog had last night, I went surfing for one on GB and found one with a BuyitNow. I emailed the seller asking if he would ship it for the BiN price, and he said sure.............so I hit the button.
The wife took it pretty well even though it is the most expensive one yet in my meager collection consisting of a 66-1, 15-2 snubbie and a 637. This one is a beauty even if I did pay more than it's probably worth, but it's worth it to me since they seem somewhat hard to find. I think I got attached to them because the look so similar to my 66-1. Can someone tell me when it was born? The seller says the serial number is 173xx........
