GOT MY 1911

After looking for a while I picked up a S&W 1911 PD Gunsite Edition, in new condition & love it. Had it to the range & put about 30 rounds inside the 3 ring at 25 yds. It handles and shoots just perfect for me.
The one thing I want to improve on is the sights both front & rear. Can any one help me on what Hi Viz sights I can buy to replace the factory sights, they are just a little hard to see with my old eyes. I also want to replace the original wooden Gunsite Grips to preserve them from hand sweat & oil. I would like to go with a nice wood grip any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sgt Grit has some, but I don't think he has any wooden ones. Welcome backto the 1911 club.

1911 GRIPS & SIGHTS

BADQUAKER; those Pearl handles look great against the Black Backround can you tell me where you got them.
Good to hear from you Gunny, checked out Sgt. Grit not to much of a selection. Have been looking at VZ grips they look pretty good & a good selection.
Any suggestions on sights, I just can,t get a good sight picture with the factory one,s.
