Got my Shield back ... Apex trigger , TFO night sights, KG gun kote =)

Just sent my Shield slide to James this morning for blasting, and glass beading. Can't wait to see how it comes back.
 
Could you please post "James at XD" contact info, I would be interested in having a trigger job done on my shield. That realy gives your gun a custom, one-of-a-kind look.

I sent my shield off the 21st to have the same titanium finish and TFO's installed. Was looking around for a good example and when I saw this I ordered it right away. Looks great, can't wait to shoot it when it gets back.

I hope it's reached its destination by now. Not sure how long USPS normally takes.
 
How durable is this coating? I really like the way it looks. I wanna send my slide in to get the TFO's and the Titanium treatment.
 
Gun looks and shoots great. Just a suggestion...with TFO sights, clear epoxy is your friend. That has been the cure for those fiber optic tubes coming off. ;)
 
Exchanged some emails with James, I'm sending mine in for TFO's and Titanium.. .
 
After reading this I also sent mine in. Can't wait to see the finished product!
 
James called me last night to tell me he shipped mine. It will be here on Thursday. - i will post pics as soon as it gets in.

FYI: I had him blast it and paint it in "Stainless". :)

James did a fantastic job on my M&P Shield slide. I had it blasted & beaded, and it looks awesome.
If you're looking for something to make your Shield a bit different from all the others, have James add some Bling Bling.
Can't wait to send off my full size slide for the same blasting treatment.

I decided I wanted a little more grip on the little guy, so I picked up a soldering iron from radio shack and gave stippling a try...Not the prettiest, but it definitely sticks better.

I just got my M&P9c back from James. He does great work. Got the slide refinished in OD green, AmeriGlo night sights, and Apex DCAEK trigger kit.

Surpassed the 800 round mark on the 4" Shield Plus and at around 650-655 for the 3" Shield plus.
