met w/ granddaughter and her boy friend for lunch and range shoot. my steptdaughter never let me instruct any of the grandchildren in firearms training. GD is 23 yrs. old. her 3 rd. time shooting pistols and a S&W ar. once she settled down on the hundred yd. range, I counted 12 hits on metal 1/2 man size metal targets in a row, it was swinging and dinging off the bench. she also stood for 1 mag, offhand. out of the 60 rounds she didn't miss many plates. this w/ standard pep sights. she didn't care for the SW 380 bodyguard, long trigger pull. she liked the 40 M&P. only suggested a higher hold/ grip, it made a difference in mag. groups. then she just walked over and shot his new glock 45, 15 rds. I think. this was at 15 yds., also steel plates at 15 yds. she is about 5 ft. 8, 120 lbs maybe. she loaded the mags. w/ ammo.--- mags. into the weapons/ did the slide. told her she shoots as good as her grandmother. she likes the rifle better than the pistols. same as her grandmother. she was a little concerned of consistent groups w/ her pistol shooting.I explained it takes time to shoot different weapons with accuracy, in time it will be acquired. a good day spent w/ her and boyfriend.
