Grashorn Grips

I have always been very satisfied with Patrick's grips! He listens to your input for your hand size, amount of bark, desired looks, etc. Gosh, I guess I have some represented on most frame sizes in my modest collection, from a gorgeous set on my everyday carry Model 37 J-frame, k- frames, and on N frames. Here's one on my chopped Model 25-2 with a 3 1/2" barrel. I stills shoots like it thinks it is a 6 1/2" .45 ACP target revolver too!

Good people - great grips!

Very easy to deal with and quick and fast service.

I have 2 sets of their grips, Grashorn "no barks" and like them a lot. To me, they look like a cross between ivory and pearl.

Highly recommend them!

I have had a dozen sets at least! Colts, S & W and Rugers, including a matching set for my Pythons and a matching set for my wife's Vaqueros for SASS. I still have a set for one of my "bear guns", an OM Blackhawk in 45 long colt and a set of rams-horn for a custom Vaquero in 38/40. Also, my wife's OM 41 Mag "bear gun".

Patrick is a great guy to work with and will send a pick when he finishes for your approval. When I ordered the set for my Blackhawk, I sent a pic of my Randall skinner, so he could match it. Just tell him how much bark you want and, if a matched set, he will try his best to match them!

That would probably look OK with a piece of plywood on it. 😁
Very nice

I'll add my compliments to both Patrick and Ken, have grips from both of them. Patrick even swapped out a set of 1911 grips, no charge, when I added a magwell to my gun.

In May of 2020, I called what I thought were the offices of Mr. Grashorn's company, on the Friday before Memorial Day. Instead, the number I used from his website was in fact his wife's cell phone. I felt awful and embarrassed. I thought I was calling customer service. I quickly found out that he and his wife are their customer service. After she handed the phone to him, he told me that he would email me pics of two N frame stag grip pairs with 3/4 bark for my (then new to me) Model 28-2 so I could choose. I had him add the S&W medallions.

I have posted this before, but I just wanted to let you know how great they made the experience. BTW, my avatar is the same 28-2. The gun looks better than my pics show.

This might be more personal preference but what is considered higher quality say sheep horn stocks? A lighter pearl like color or more different light and darker colors?
